Quest-Tool-Suite: Content Upgrades
What are Content Upgrades?
During the recent years, various companies, Universities
and consultants have developed special contents for the Quest-Tools.
Such contents consists of a Process
Model and an Assessment Model.
- The Process Model contains
a questionnaire based upon expertise and domain specific
processes with elaborated definitions and explanations.
The Processes are combined to Process Areas (or categories)
to provide a clear and distinct structure.
- The Assessment Model
describes the attributes, which are relevant for the rating
of the processes within the context of the process model.
Each attribute is equiped with a precise description and
contains relevant informationts to allow an objective rating.
The underlying capability model is defined by the assignment
of the attributes to the defined levels (conform ISO 15504).
Currently twentyfour different "Contents" are available,
but some are company specific developments - which are not
for sale - or they are designed for special projects and thus
are not relevant any more, e.g. like the Y2K-Audit tool.
The following table lists the available Content Upgrades.
Prerequisites
A precondition for the acquisition of a Content Upgrades
is the rightful possession of a SynEdit
license.
With SynEdit not only the
Content Upgrade can be captured and integrated into the company
own Quest Tool, it also can be adapted to your individual
needs.
The contents can be used within the whole organisation without
limitations. Consulting services for external companies -
using the content upgrade - will need a separate license agreement.
